The setup

Episode 1 opens at home with Riley and Jack rushing to get dressed, and she explains how excited her stepmom Regina is to finally meet him after two years apart. At the reunion Regina compliments how strong he looks, Riley talks about the college workload and how sweet Jack has been, and the family heads to the dance floor. Episode 2 moves into a hallway argument, a spilled drink and a request for help with the stain. Riley goes looking for Jack and finds the room occupied.

Why it is worth the time

This one has a built-in family-event rhythm: a party, a dance, a spill and a chase through the rooms. It is playful and gets moving without needing much backstory.

Best night for it

A mid-evening watch for something light and flirty, when you want a party scene more than a long plot.
