Candy Shorts token planner: what each series costs to finish

How far do Candy AI tokens actually go on Candy Shorts? Further than you might fear. Most series are free for their first two episodes, then charge 12 tokens an episode, which puts the typical finish line at 36 tokens. This token planner shows what each series costs, what 36, 100 or 300 tokens buy, and where a monthly Premium allowance fits.

Catalog counted November 2, 2026. Prices checked October 30, 2026. Episode 1 timed, later episodes assumed the same length.

What a budget buys

36 tokens1 series finished, 6:31 min of paid viewing.
100 tokens2 series finished, 13:51 min of paid viewing.
300 tokens3 series finished, 32:53 min of paid viewing.

What each series costs to finish

How token pricing works

Tokens are the currency Candy uses for Shorts once the free part is over. Episode 1 of any open series is free and plays without a login. The next one is free too, though you must register a free account. From episode 3 on, you pay per episode.

The usual rate is 12 tokens an episode. A smaller group of series, 15 at our latest count, charges 30 tokens an episode instead, and those are the ones that can sting. Spicy series follow a different rule: Premium is required from the start.

Put together, a standard five-episode series with two free episodes and three paid ones costs 36 tokens. Across all 180 open series, the full bill to finish every single one is 8,574 tokens, which is a number nobody should aim for. The planner on this page exists so you pay for the series you like and ignore the rest.

What 36, 100 and 300 tokens buy

Start small. A budget of 36 tokens finishes one typical series, start to end, and it still leaves the free openings of many other series available at zero cost.

With 100 tokens, which is the monthly allowance that comes with Premium, you can finish two typical series and keep a few tokens aside. In practice 175 open series cost 100 tokens or less to complete, so almost any single pick fits inside one month.

At 300 tokens you are in marathon territory. That is room for several complete series, or one of the pricier 30-token ones plus a handful of normal ones. Even then, we suggest sampling first. Watch the free minutes of five series, keep the two that hook you, and put the tokens there instead of splitting them across all five.

If you only want to know whether a given series fits your balance, open its page. The token bill is printed beside the timeline, along with the free minutes you get before it starts.

Spending tokens well

The cheapest token is the one you never spend on a series you dislike. So the rule is simple: use the free episodes as an audition. If episode 2 leaves you cold, stop, and you have lost nothing but a few minutes.

If it grabs you, finish that series before starting a new paid one. Hopping between half-finished series feels flexible, but it parks your tokens in stories you may never complete. We prefer the stop point approach: watch right up to where the free part ends, decide, then pay for the remainder in one go.

Check the price per episode before you commit, too. A series that charges 30 tokens an episode costs a lot more than one at 12, even if the runtime looks identical. Our totals make that gap visible. Finally, remember that Premium bundles more than tokens, namely chat without a message cap and adult images and videos, so judge whether you want the plan itself, and treat the tokens as a bonus rather than the whole reason.
