The setup

Theo and his girlfriend arrive at her family home just as a storm closes the roads and the trains, leaving everyone stuck until Tuesday. The house is bigger than he expected, and the stepmom's taste shows. Theo cannot help staring, she notices, and a quiet conversation in the living room turns pointed with a question he is not ready to answer. Episode 2 picks up at daybreak, with a close call involving his girlfriend and a ticking window of two minutes before the whole house catches on.

Why it is worth the time

The storm works as a pressure cooker: nobody can leave, everyone is close and each small glance matters. Longer episodes give the tension room to build, which suits a more patient mood.

Best night for it

A cold evening with a blanket and enough time to watch both free episodes back to back.
