The setup

Summer break begins, and a guy arrives at his father's house to meet the stepsister he has never seen. Brooklyn is bright, welcoming and visibly amused, and she has already mapped out the next two weeks. Her stepmother and her friend are in on the plan, and one line tells you everything about the house: guests usually believe the idea was theirs by day two. Episode 1 is the arrival and the heat.
