The setup

Dad's work trip comes with a new rule: whatever his wife Ava says, the household does. His son, now an adult living at home, watches as she takes the keys and the authority with a smile. Ava reads out her rules, starting with the phone left in the kitchen, then knocking before entering her room, then a third rule she will explain later. Episode 2 confronts him with one of those rules after he is caught watching through her door, and she is not offended. She tells him that rule three is simple: this time, he watches.

Why it is worth the time

A rules-and-obedience game with a deadpan lead. Ava is playful, in total control and clearly enjoying herself, and the story builds with each rule. The free episodes only tease the third one.

Best night for it

Fits a weeknight when you want a quick bit of mischief, ideally with the door locked and the phone in the kitchen.
