The setup

The new rookie plays loose and wins a game by ignoring the call. The coach, an icy woman whose husband owns the whole team, is furious and sends him to run the stairs. After that he must report to her office for what she calls his punishment. Episode 2 raises the stakes: she tells him to get on his knees, then leaves him washing uniforms while she goes to shower before the celebration. The invitation to join her arrives, and he realizes who she is married to. Of course he goes.
