The setup

Nate has a strange new assignment: his employer is traveling for a week and wants someone to stay near Lucy, his wife. The man phones in from abroad, polite and trusting, and Nate answers like a loyal employee. Lucy sees the arrangement as a joke at her expense and says so, with a red swimsuit and a very direct smile. Episode 1 sets up the nightly check-in call and a guest room that suddenly feels too close. Episode 2 has the boss asking Nate to look in on her again, and Lucy waiting to see which answer he gives.
