The setup

Episode 1 begins in Ava's home, where she waves her stepbrother in and announces the rules: today you are Brad, because Brad is busy. She wants to rehearse the vows, the dress fitting and the first kiss, and she corrects Leo's hold with exact instructions about where hands belong. Brad calls in and cheerfully approves of a stand-in, describing Leo as harmless. Ava keeps studying him. Leo then recites a vow of his own: he promises to notice when she goes quiet and never to use pet names as if they were her name. The rehearsal is about to reach the kiss.

Why it is worth the time

It is a sweet, flirty rehearsal with a funny premise and one good line about being harmless. Every rehearsal step gets more charged because the real groom is only a phone call away.

Best night for it

Date night or a wedding-season mood. Light enough for a lunch break, with a small romantic payoff.
