The setup

The holiday is going badly for his wife, who has been ill since they landed, so she asks her husband to look after her daughter Harriet. Harriet is an adult, and she has her own idea of fun. Episode 1 plays with sun cream, a lie told to her mother over the phone and a private cabana with curtains. In episode 2 she says what she has been holding back for three years, since she first watched him dance at the wedding. Her mother texts the whole time, which keeps everyone on edge.

Why it is worth the time

It balances guilty comedy with real chemistry, and the constant near misses keep the pace up. It is a taboo story played with humor rather than gloom. Two short free episodes are plenty to decide.

Best night for it

A holiday-style night in, or a break when you want something sunny, quick and a little naughty.
