The setup

Over dinner, Niko confesses to his best friend that the business is failing and he cannot keep a woman like Dasha in the style she expects. When the check arrives, Niko's card is declined, and his friend quietly pays. Dasha notices that the friend is more fun than expected and tells him that admiring is free, but she is not. He answers that he prefers a woman to work for it. In episode 2 she realizes he does not chase, which unsettles her. After a late drive home, they insist he not drive any farther and offer a room in the guest wing, which is very private.

Why it is worth the time

This is a status game with a calm winner. Dasha is used to being pursued, and the friend simply declines, which flips the dynamic and gives the story its tension.

Best night for it
