The setup

He needs a roommate to cover the mortgage, and the spare room went that morning to an early bird with some very persuasive points. In episode 1 Sonia shows up for a viewing anyway and refuses to leave without a chance to state her case. The new tenant calls from the bathroom for a towel. Then his girlfriend phones, hears that two women are competing for a single room, and decides she has to see this for herself. While she's on the road, Sonia makes a bold offer to top whatever her rival managed earlier.

Why it is worth the time

It's farce with a flirt: the rivals, the towel, the girlfriend on the road. The jokes come quickly, the landlord is hopeless in the best way, and the deadline keeps everyone moving.
