The setup

Episode 1: a car wash crew scrubs dirty cars while Roxy fumes at a honking driver. Her dad and his partner are at their jobs for the day, and her stepbrother is supposed to watch the house with her. She insists he has zero game, then catches him staring and calls him a creep. He blames her eyes for the distraction. She tells him that was his last good look, since she is soaked and he has a spare shirt. In episode 2 she goes to change and warns him to behave. Later the dishes become a deal: he does them, and she goes clubbing with him on his dime.

Why it is worth the time

The banter is the point: Roxy gives as good as she gets, and her stepbrother cannot help being earnest. It reads like a summer rom-com with a suggestive wink and a good soundtrack feel.

Best night for it

Warm evening, summer mood and a free half hour. It is bright and breezy.
