The setup

Lady Antonella rides four days to reach the palace the day before the prince's tournament and marriage to Princess Maren. At the games the custom is that the winner hands a ribbon to his intended, and the ribbon he hands over sparks questions. Antonella tells him she remembers their old night together and plans to find him at the feast, no matter who is at the table. Episode 2 adds a wedding eve, a toast, a curtain and the promise that this time she will have what he once offered.

Why it is worth the time

The costume setting gives it a different texture from the modern entries: ribbons, feasts and old customs. It is romantic, a bit theatrical, and the stakes feel like a palace secret.

Best night for it

A candlelit night in when you want something fantasy-flavored and are in the mood for pageantry.
