The setup

In the office, a timid employee keeps getting caught watching a cosplay streamer called softbunny_xo during work hours, and his boss warns him that it is the last time. Meanwhile he helps a quiet coworker named Lily pick up what she dropped, and notices a bracelet that matches the streamer's. Episode 2 follows him to her live show, where fans cheer the Cosplay Queen as she arrives. Backstage he spots a matching pendant and hides from some pursuers in her dressing room. Then she sits him down and asks whether he really wants to see what is under the armor.

Why it is worth the time

A double-identity romance with a sweet streak: the shy guy, the secret fantasy and a real person behind the costume. It has more heart than most, and it moves quickly.

Best night for it

A good one when you want something warm and a little geeky, alone or with a partner who likes cosplay.
