The setup

Mila's first day on a billionaire's superyacht starts with nerves. In episode 1 she's sure everyone else on the crew looks like a professional, and that the serious owner, who could have anyone, will never notice her. Vera, his chief stew, runs his schedule and has quietly hoped for years that he'd see her as more than staff. She suggests they share a dinner reservation that came free. He's more interested in the new hire. When choppy water sends a jug of juice his way, he decides to show Mila below deck himself.

Why it is worth the time

The yacht is a lovely backdrop, and the triangle is clear from the first minute. Mila is easy to root for, Vera's jealousy is delicious, and the owner keeps his cards close.

Best night for it

Great on a slow Sunday evening when you want a little luxury escapism and a classic workplace triangle.
