The setup

Our handyman is tidying a mansion for its owner, who wants the job finished before her husband returns. Inside the safe sits a gold lamp, and out of it comes a jinniyah ready to grant wishes. His first wish is a tidy room, and after four centuries of kings demanding treasure she laughs out loud. In episode 2 she keeps raising the offer: cash, company, whatever hour he likes, convinced that everyone has a price. He finally says his, and it is her. Meanwhile the wife's car is pulling in.

Why it is worth the time

The twist is that he is the one who turns the genie's rules around. It is funny, flirty and clever without trying too hard. A fast, funny way to spend a few minutes.

Best night for it

A cozy evening when you want a fantasy comedy with a bit of heat and an easy pace.
