The setup

Katara plays the cat for the man she loves: she wakes him, demands attention and acts out the role he seems to enjoy. Their mornings are warm and silly, with breakfast, nicknames and affectionate nagging. Then a message arrives, and so does the news that he has won a scholarship and must leave. Episode 1 moves from comedy to a closed bedroom door. In episode 2 he admits the cat routine was mostly for her sake, she holds on to a shirt that smells like him, and she asks for a thousand kisses before he goes.

Why it is worth the time

It is softer than most of the catalog: more about attachment and a goodbye than a conquest. The sweetness gives it a different texture, and the premise is easy to follow.

Best night for it

Good for a cozy, low-key night when you want romance with a little melancholy, ideally with a drink and no rush.
