The setup

Solene is on a tropical getaway, and her father has assigned a former soldier to follow her everywhere. She hates it. In episode 1 he steps in when a stranger at a club keeps pushing after being refused, and he does it without apology, which infuriates her and impresses her at the same time. Episode 2 brings her father to a party, where he reminds the guard exactly what he is paid for, and what he is not. Dad is never far, which makes each look a gamble.

Why it is worth the time

The slow-burn tension works because the rules are clear: his contract forbids it, and she keeps daring him to forget. A good pick for fans of the cold, disciplined type.

Best night for it

An evening when you want a slow build and a strict male lead, with enough quiet to catch the glances.
