The setup

In this fantasy kingdom, the future queen has a spell on her that keeps her from taking dragon form. Her mother brings in a warlock healer, and the examination turns personal fast. The queen is promised to a fiancé, which makes every look a small betrayal. Episode 2 moves on to a hunt for one plant able to lift the curse, which leads to Agatha, a grower who is delighted to meet royalty and finds ways around the rule about faithfulness. The magic here is mostly an excuse to get close.

Why it is worth the time

If you like your romance with castles and curses, this one mixes the fairy tale with real flirtation. The stakes are a crown, and everybody is a little too willing.

Best night for it

A late night when you want to escape the everyday, ideally under a blanket with the lights low.
