The setup

Ren and Yama have an easy morning routine: coffee, toast, and a lot of looks that never quite land. Just as she almost says something, her friend Mira shows up with a bag, announcing she has been kicked out by her ex. Mira stays, helped by the fact that Ren just lost his job and cannot cover his share of the bills anymore. With three people splitting costs, everything works, and Mira calls dibs on the big closet. She quickly notices he likes Yama, and Yama insists he is just the roommate.

Why it is worth the time

A cozy, slightly chaotic roommate comedy with a love triangle, money trouble and a bet in the background. It reads warm before it reads wild, and it never feels mean.

Best night for it

A relaxed night when you want something sweeter and funnier, and you are happy to take your time.
