The setup

Ser Garrick rides toward a coronation no one expects, because nobody crowns a bastard. In the forest, a witch from the Blackwood steps out and calls him by name. She promises him seven lords on their knees, two of whom have already bent, with five more to win. His plan is to do it with a sword. She says she would like to see him try, then invites him to come to her at moonrise. In episode 2 he returns, names the price he expects, and learns it is a night per lord that kneels. The queen regent's riders are already searching the wood.

Why it is worth the time

It swaps office rules for royal ones, with a sly witch, a tight seven-day clock and a hero who has to trade favors for a throne. It is a different flavor from the rest of this batch.
